Daily market news is everywhere, yet precious little of it is useful to financial advisors taking the long-term view for individual investors. What if advisors had a go-to resource for a broad base of this kind of information, one that offered a glimpse into the minds and ideas of CIBC’s expert portfolio managers? Then buyers of investment ideas would be drawn magnetically to this indispensable new source.
The idea channel
Starting in 2011, Rogers Media partnered with Naumann to create an investment webcast for CIBC Global Asset Management on two web-based platforms. We put together a national team of seasoned producers from Vancouver to Montreal to gather pertinent insights from CIBC portfolio managers and deliver it twice a week to over 38,0000 financial advisors’ mailboxes, browsers and mobile devices.
Relevance to go
More than 25 experts now contribute to the branded Advisor-to-Go program from Toronto to Hong Kong, Sidney, L.A. and Edinburgh. The result: a wide-ranging outlook on global investment to help advisors pick the best assets for their clients’ retirement plans.
